Description
Tour Locations: Rabbit Ears Pass has mainly groomed trails as wells as backcountry loops to explore. Blacktail Mountain in Pleasant Valley has a private trail that meanders through peaceful aspen and pine groves along a ridge above the Yampa River.
We take all levels, no experience necessary! Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced; kids (ages 6+) and adults. All climbing equipment is provided as well as instruction and guiding. Trips can be recreational climbing or instructional clinics; whatever the client prefers.
All reserved trips will incur a 10% non-refundable booking deposit. Cancellations with less then a week notice will be charged 50% of trip cost. Less then 72 hours notice or no show – we will charge the credit card for the total trip cost. Discretion will be used for special instances.
Dress warm, as if you were going skiing or snowboarding, with layers you can add or shed. Have warm, dry gloves and a hat that will fit under a climbing helmet. Don’t forget your camera. Puffy jackets, gloves, gaitors, poles are available for all trips.

Guides will meet guests at lodging, fill out paperwork and fit into necessary equipment, then head to the trailhead. Most trails are 15-30 minutes from downtown. Guests may meet guide at trailhead.
Transportation can be provided for up to SEVEN adults (limited basis), or guests can follow in their own vehicles if they wish. Groups of eight people or more need to provide additional transportation or make arrangements through RMV for the group. Transportation fee may apply.

Best part of my trip
Ice Climbing was one of the sports I never knew that I wanted to do, until it was suggested. Thank goodness it was, because it was amazing!! ...Seriously, if you are going to Steamboat Springs during the winter, you MUST go ice climbing with @Steamboat Climbing!!! Or, if you're going in the summer, I'm sure their summer activities are pretty good too :)
